A Faculty-Led Study Abroad Course in England and Spain

This course introduces students to the sociological study of sport across two main cultures in analyzing player development in both the U.S. and parts of Europe (England and Spain). 1. What are the similarities and differences between futbol player development in the U.S. and parts of Europe?
  2. How can we use sociological data collection and analysis techniques to answer the above question?
  3. Which sociological theories can we use to analyze the differences between futbol player development in the two cultures?
