A Fall 2022 Special Education Professional Renewal Graduate Course
Tied to attendance at the October 17-18 2022 Colorado Association for the Gifted & Talented Conference: Unconventionally, Unconditionally Gifted.
Topics which may be addressed are definitions of giftedness; characteristics, traits and needs of learners with gifts and talents; assessment and identification of gifted learners; and appropriate curriculum for high ability, high potential learners. Participants will select breakout sessions that address a specific personal interest or need. Topics are addressed at the introductory level.
This course is graded Satisfactory / Unsatisfactory. See the syllabus for session and learning outcome details, as well as information about the follow-up assignment.
