Introducing Blended Learning to Your School or District
Fall 2020 Sections of this Online Educational Leadership Workshop
Aimed at supporting educational leaders as they begin to design and implement digital learning in their school or district, this course provides an overview of blended learning basics as well as a deep dive into sustainable and disruptive models. Leadership coaching strategies are integrated into the course, making it a perfect first step for administrators and emerging school leaders.
Three optional, one-hour synchronous sessions will be offered. Dates and times for these sessions will be communicated to students.
After this course participants will be able to...
- Identify elements constituting blended learning based on research findings.
- Discuss the strengths and potential challenges of various blended learning models specific to their own educational context.
- Create a mission and vision statement for their blended learning implementation.
- Design, produce, and present a board presentation or research paper based on the data that supports their planned blended learning model.
Grading will be Pass/Fail: a minimum score of 80% will be required to pass.
