Supporting Blended Learning in Your School or District
Spring 2021 Sections of this Online Educational Leadership Workshop
This course is designed to guide educational leaders (superintendents, administrators, and/or instructional staff) as they implement digital learning programs in their school or district. “Supporting Blended Learning” provides insight into supporting high-quality blended learning across multiple groups of stakeholders: students, teachers and community-at-large. Tools and strategies are introduced, shared, and practiced in a supportive setting.
Three optional, one-hour synchronous sessions will be offered. Dates and times for these sessions will be communicated to students.
After this course participants will be able to...
- Identify the changing roles of teachers and students
- Discuss and become familiar with the 2014 iNACOL Competencies for Blended Learning Teachers
- Examine the teacher supports currently provided by the school or district and create an action plan to address identified gaps
- Design, carry out, and reflect upon strategies to communicate and build consensus within several stakeholder groups around blended learning
Grading will be Pass/Fail: a minimum score of 80% will be required to pass.
