Introduction to Blended Learning
Spring 2021 Sections of this Online Educational Technology Workshop
This course provides students with the opportunity to closely examine various models of blended learning in order to reflect on and refine current teaching practices. Participants will implement a model specific to their content and classroom environment.
Three optional, one-hour synchronous sessions will be offered. Dates and times for these sessions will be communicated to students.
After this course participants will be able to...
- Identify elements constituting blended learning based on research findings
Select a blended learning model(s) appropriate for their environment - Design, develop, and deliver a lesson within a blended model(s) framework
- Demonstrate criteria for high-quality blended learning
- Reflect on their learning and instructional experience
Grading will be Pass/Fail: a minimum score of 80% will be required to pass.
