Colorado Dance Education Organization Annual Conference
Graduate Credit for Reflection on Topics from the CoDEO Conference
DNCE 508 is provided as a professional development opportunity for dance educators for attendance at the Colorado Dance Education Organization (CoDEO) annual conference. The goal of attendance at the CoDEO conference is to provide opportunities to update skills and knowledge in terms of dance education and movement-based content and curricula. This course will require educators to attend the annual CoDEO conference sessions designed specifically for movement and dance teachers and the dance performances presented during the conference.
Those receiving UNC credit will also be expected to attend the performance on day one and closing performance at the end of the second day. The monitor for each session will sign the educator attendance sheet as evidence of attending a session or performance. This sheet will be copied by attendees and emailed to the instructor of record along with other course papers or required documents.
See the syllabus for details about the reflection and follow-up assignment. This course is letter graded: Syllabus
