A Professional Renewal Course Approved by CDE for the English Learner Requirements for Licensure Renewal
This 3-credit graduate level course includes 45 instructional contact hours and additional hands-on assignments directly related to the participants’ real teaching situations. This course is approved to address all Colorado Department of Education ELL educator preparation standards for licensure renewal requirements.
The course emphasizes effective instructional practices that empower K-12 classroom teachers to support English Language Learners’ to be more successful in school. The UNC School of Teacher Education and Extended Campus will coordinate with schools, school districts and BOCES groups to plan sections of this course for your educators.
